More Transformation Mods

Well, since Marcopolo's balverine transformation mod is so popular, I thought that people would like to see some more of these transform mods.

Undo the mod
If you're tired of being a minion or hobbe use this.

Now these mods are more then just a model change. They also swap the sounds and some animations. The mods also change the bones and some good/evil/will effects. I also included some weapons.

When using these mods, you can't walk; so you've got to run always. Also: don't wear any clothes, get a clean shave and a bald head.

If someone has a transformation request, you can post it below and I'll see if I find the time to make the mod for you (no guarantees though ).

Last thing: I havn't tested these much, so you could come across some weird stuff with animation problems when using spells or things like that :wacko:

Do you have minion and Hobbe anims or just their mesh/texture and bone file?

Swapped the CAppearanceDef. So the 'hero' moves as a Hobbe or Minion. I didn't edit it, so it functions, but some stuff will not work.

To clarify a bit more:
As said above, I only swapped the CAppearanceDef. Marcopolo changed it so that more animations would work. To do this is kinda complex. I can add animations to the CAppearancedef, bit still figuring out how to get it all linked correctly.

I've done that, but 'he' moves very slow. So it's kind of boring to be him... he doesn't have much animations either. He's got two different ways of attacking with his sword, and walking. That's about it.

Well, this is off topic, but I can't find where the animations are located, I'm trying to do this myself, because I feel insignificant enough.

And for a request, try the queen or king scorpion (yes, QUEEN, it's in the listings, but looks quite similar to the king) or something you most likely cannot do, like the JOB Dragon form.

Well, this is off topic, but I can't find where the animations are located, I'm trying to do this myself, because I feel insignificant enough.

And for a request, try the queen or king scorpion (yes, QUEEN, it's in the listings, but looks quite similar to the king) or something you most likely cannot do, like the JOB Dragon form.

Animations are stored in the Graphics.big and linked in the CAppearanceDef. I wrote about working with animations in the New to modding? thread.

As for making a swap with the scorpion queen/king, I'll try it. See if it works. :ninja:

I don't think it would work based on the basic geometry of the dragon mesh, I may be wrong but I don't think a dragon could negotiate the pathways designed in the game; I don't use Freeroam but, even if the pathways are open I think the model would interfere with the base polys for the world...that's why it has it's own area and limited animations whereas the other characters were meant to move throughout the regions without any issues, just my logic.

- I do think it would be a cool transformation...

EDIT- OldBoy beat me to a better explanation/reason-

The dragon will not work. Everything the dragon does relies on scripts. A change of model and animations can't change that.
