Have to be saved in .gif format and i believe that is .jpg format.

Re: Moving avatar

The file is a .gif atleast according to the file's properties

Re: Moving avatar

I'll check it out. We've had this problem for ages and there's no real reason as to why this happens but I'll take another gander at some of the settings and see what's what. I do have a potential "work-around" idea which might do the trick... bear with me.

Re: Moving avatar

Id clicked to save it and the properties had said it was a jpg file so thats why i came to that conclusion. However as Steve said its been an issue for a while and some peoples works and some peoples didnt, never known why. Hopefully Steve figures it out.

Re: Moving avatar

The problem is the dimensions are too big - they need to be the right size otherwise it will freeze into place.

Re: Moving avatar

Does the forum software allow for .gifs to be used as avatars? I know they can be uploaded, but are they converted to .jpg after upload?
