Multiple Wives

I'm thinking of playing Fable 2 again, but I have a question for the serial bigamists: how do you stop your wife from divorcing you every 5 seconds?
I give them gifts, shag them, go see them and the kids every few days...

I like the ladies in Fable 2 (and the men, I'm not particularly fussy either way) so I have as many as possible - the trick is to first off make sure they never find your other spouses in the same street as them (I married eight people in one town and they all went a bit mad at me when they found out). Secondly, with some of them even if you spend every waking minute with them they complain. I spent four straight in-game days with one spouse and he kept whining he never saw me. Some of them are just hard to hang onto, but essentially you're already doing the right things. Posh gifts, favourite expressions and other things they enjoy are all good things but if they're fussy little beggars and want you with them 24/7, it's more fun just to fry them with lightning and step over their charred skeletons on your way to shacking up with another more suitable person

women and men love 'money' so increase the spending limit to 500, 1000 or so and theyre with you for life

Yeah, only have one or 2 wives/husbands in each town, marital home nowhere near each other. If they whine, shoot them. Change the buget to like 1k if you can afford that, and they should be well happy. (Small cramped houses are bad, make sure you kit them out with nice furniture).

Are there certain personality types that are less likely to divorce you, no matter hwat happens?

Not too sure but I'd guess lower class people have lower expectations maybe. And maybe your purity/corruption has something to do with it. And you need to make sure you visit practically all of them everyday, coz they might give you a letter from someone (a blackmail letter saying if you dont pay up they'll blab that your a bigamist).
