MW2 3rd Person

I hated it at first. But I invited three of my friends and my last 15 games, we've won and my K-D have all been positive.

How's everyone else liking the new 3rd person mode?

Its stupid. I'm fairly good at it, but it is very stupid.

^ Agreed. It seems like a game mode, not intended for CoD. The whole 'you can look around cover without actually looking around cover' thing going on makes it extremely easy to pwn the entire time twice.

I enjoy it.

However, I don't think the entire game should EVER be completely 3rd person though. It's fun but no.

It's almost like a mini game to me. It makes sights completely useless. I kill people though.

I guess they added to also try to please those that do like 3rd person views. Personally ive never tried it but im more of a 1st person view guy.

i think its just fun when u need a change of play for a while, a bit fed up of ure negative scores want to try something, have some fun really, i love running around with marathon and lightweight just stabbing there whole team, but akimbo is a no go in this mode its hard to get any kind of shot on this

Akimbo UMP45 is good on 3rd person. So is the akimbo 1887.

Akimbo guns are a stupid idea. Shouldn't be in the game. Overall the game is a failure compared to MW1, in my opinion.

They seemed to pack loads of things into one game to impress everyone. The online is very glitchy and the servers suck atm... I hope they sort it out soon or I'm going back to Gears.

Exactly my thoughts. Once I get to 10th prestige I'm probably just going to go back to MW1.

I like the MW2 3rd person, I am a 3rd person man, I like first person alot, but I love the 3rd person aspect, the only dislike I have about 3rd person modes and games is sometimes the camera angles are unforgiving.

Well, not sure if this helps, you can left click while aiming down the sights to swap camera angles from left to right.

its alright, i like to play it every once in awhile, but first person will always be better.
