My fellow Americans*: Today is 7-11, did you get yours?

Is it bad that I can recall that entire The Simpsons episode from memory...?

mericns pls

isn nvembr yet

Blessing.

Also, Arse, you've raised an interesting question. Do 7-11's in weird countries that can't get the date right give out free slurpees November 7th?

Honestly, DD/MM/YYYY makes much more sense than MM/DD/YYYY, just like football is a much more fitting name for what we call soccer. I just say soccer and use the MM/DD/YYYY date format because everyone else around here does and we're all used to it.

Though I realize you were probably just joking.

And lets not get into your phobia of the metric system...

Oh how I wish we used metrics in the US. But alas, after 19 years on this planet and in this country, I'm just too used to these god damn feet and inches (and, you know, all the other units of measurement we've got).

I love it when Scotty asks me what time it is, and for example I say "16:43".

Then he says "Uh... in American please?"

*cough*... >_> ...

I hate the metric system.

If I want a pound of sausages, a yard of cloth or a pint of milk then by hell I will order as such.

Screw you, European Union.

The military understands it.

Soldiers are the most intelligent Americans - confirmed.

We do here I'm pretty sure.

And you go smallest to largest. Everyone knows that. Seconds, minutes, hours, days, months, years.
