Re: Fable 2 Ideas/Wishlist
My wishlist
Immersive World:
A gorgeous immersive beautiful world...that is full of unpredictable things. For example...walking in a unknown forest area that is very highly detailed and the next thing you know a creature jumps out of the bushes to attack you and that's when the unexpected combat kicks in. Another good example would be say you just walk and very far away you happen to see a mountain that is actually a part of the game world (not a backround) where you can actually climb up if you can find your way up there. As you climb and climb the mountain is very big and once you reach the peak...a Dragon flies by and starts fighting with you. I really want to see this in a next generation RPG and I think that if Fable 2 can pull this off it will be something we will never forget a engaging immersive experience that is very breath taking.
Big Secrets:
Just like Fable 1 enviorment and it's story was full of dark secrets. When you read a book about the "old" kingdom or how dragons were being hunt for sport and things like that. Example : Go find a book that tells about the history of albion or hints at something that still exist (like a huge creature/monster), follow the book's clues , keep following see where it get's you and eventually discover something that is just stunning to see. Fable was a very mysterious world full of intresting history and things. I hope that Fable 2 will talk more about history of Albion and let you play that history if you can find your way in there.
Gore System:
This one may seem to be weird but I am can't stand RPGs with not any gore in them... If any of you here have played Blade of Darkness then you know what I mean by a gore system. Just to make it short tho, a combat so realistic and violent that you can literarly chop enemies in half, their limbs, arms, hands, legs , heads. In Fable 1 you can chop the head off but I don't think it was enough (well for me).
