you know, i was just thinking (WAIT I CAN TURN MY BRAIN ON WOW!) in the constitution it says that the citizens of the us have the right to over throw the current government if it is no longer working correctly. My question is why has no one done this? (i know off topic but i didn't want to start a whole new thread and the whole questioning government thing kind of stays with this.)

Whose government? And who says it isn't working?

And what the hell does that have to do with urban legends and myths and vast, crazed conspiracy theories?

Yeah, and I happily question my government on everything that there is cause to question them on.

There is cause to question them on this. Their official story is obviously not what happened, and we need an explanation.

Because the small minority who actually know about this clause are too lazy to spread the word and organise one. That and we don't really need one.

Well when it comes to things like Loch Ness and bigfoot we all have to keep in mind that we don't know everything about this planet. Much as we hate to admit it, we know more about the moon than we do about our own planet. We are constantly discovering new things and proving "myths" to be real. Think of things like the Gigantopithecus, the coelacanth and the giant squid. These things were considered fake by the scientific community until quite recently. No one really knows whats hiding in the depths of the ocean or the uninhabitable jungles. Tell yourself that you do if it makes you feel better but you will always be proven wrong.

Personally, I keep an open mind. And being quite insane I can usually get away with believing in such things.

Loch Ness: Could be anything really. Giant eel, dinosaur, Aunt Tabitha.... Don't know.

Bigfoot: If it's out there I don't see why it can't be some form of gigantopithecus. (google it, the truth is out there.... :alien

UFOs: Thinking that we are the only intelligent life form in this great wide universe is incredibly egotistical and selfish. They're out there, we just don't know where. Wish we did......

Moon landing.... whatever.... there's nothing there so why bother with it?

And for all other conspiracy theories..... I'm insane so I can believe in them. I don't know what your excuse is.... But go here and watch this movie... If you like conspiracy theories, this one takes the whole bakery.

enjoy the movie, hope youve got about 2 hours to spare. :lol: then watch the secound if you liked the first. both a bit dry, but a very good eye opener. i dont swear by the movie as i have not finished fact checking it, but its still a very good documentary. i recomend everyone watch it.

I think we need to clarify something:

UFO =/= Alien life.

Saying that you don't believe in flying saucers doesn't mean you don't believe in alien life. I have no doubt in my mind that there are life on other planets, however I very much doubt they've ever been to Earth. The technical problems are just overwhelming when one tries to imagine some sort of interstellar craft being able travel the reaches of space to land on earth and such. The speed it would require alone is baffling.

Thanks for taking the words out of my mouth, or possibly my fingers and keyboard. Though it wouldn't surprise me if we didn't eventually discover a form of travel that alowed us to go to other stars; I seriously doubt that aliens would come here for the purpose of flying by without saying anything and abducting people and whatever.
