What Fable do you have and if its Fable or Fable TLC then for what console? Is the disk scratched if so clean it

I got the same problem..
I use no modifications or trainers..
I got Windows Vista and every time I try entering the game with a saved file it crashes.
I can see the intro all the way to the "left click the mouse to start" splash

Yeah.

Like JohnDoe said, run Fable as an Admin (right click if your on Vista)
