Need Ideas from the community regarding my media class

I am apart of a Television, and Videography Production class(I'd thought it would be appropriate to post it in the media board) and one of my assignments is to make a two part documentary. I want to ask is

What would you prefer to see as a documentary?
Just spout out ideas. But it has to be appropriate for school in general.

some part of underground culture, if you can manage such a thing. i recently watched a graffiti documentary called "exit through the gift shop" that was FANTASTIC. if you can get a topic as attention grabbing (and slightly illegal) as that, i may even buy your documentary.

I watched a Star Wars documentary the other day, it was about the mythology and history that Lucas based it on as well as the general morality theme of corruption being overcome by redemption, in a way Star Wars is like the modern day equivalent of a Greek play. It features a hero who has to overcome terrible odds(Luke Skywalker), a sexy yet capable and resourceful princess(leia), as well as a tragic villain (Darth Vader.) I can imagine archaeologists 1000 years in the future interpreting Star Wars as an ancient morality tale, it wouldn't suprise Me. You should do something like that.

You could do one on Marijuana, how pop culture is affecting our children, hate crimes, politics, political conspiracy, religion. Heck, if you can find something philosophical out of something, you can do a documentary on that. If you Like Star Wars you could do a documentary on the philosophy of it or the timeline or what have you, or you can break Inception down piece by piece.

I wrote a college paper about how changes in societal norms over the past 100 years changed people's views about sex and led to the increasing acceptance of things like porn, S&M, etc. Luckily, my professor had a sense of humor. In fact, I think he actually LIKED getting my papers, just because he never knew what to expect!

I agree with this. No offence to anyone, but when in exams they try to be politically correct all the example names are "Baljit", and "Iqbal", and when we had to do Black History Month in school a few weeks ago, in an assembly a teacher said that the idea of a White History Month sounded Nazi-ish. So I'd go with that.
