New Fable 2 information

I just read that Bowerstone will not be a small village ,but rather a large town,close to a small city. You can purchase all the buildings if you got the gold and each building has a quest attached to it. If you're an evil character, your dog will pee on your slain enemies. The world is 100 times bigger than Fable: TLC. If you're by the ocean and look up and see a cave on the cliff, it is only reachable in a boat at high tide. Swords get stuck in wood. Your dog will attack the most dangerous enemy first. If your enemy has a gun, he'll attack him first. If you're in a bar with a bottle in your hand and someone picks a fight, you don't put down the bottle and reach for your sword, rather you smash the bottle and use it as a weapon. When's the release date Peter?!??

Wow! Sounds pretty cool. In some earlier thread we were talking about the whole barfighting thing but I never really expected this! Do you have any actual confirmation that this is going to be in the game? I'd just like to know so I don't get my hopes up if it isn't true.

Interesting, If half those ideas actually make it into the final cut, this will truly be an inovative game.

I am aware of that... and that was not Fable as you said... he just said it would be in Fable... which is why I'm asking for a source...

When he was talking about buying the buildings in Bowerstone he said you could it all Houses,Pubs,the Castle ect. He then said that if you own it all you cam be Major then King and then Emperor im guessing you have to do some of the special quests in order to move higher up. And one way of getting money is simply by earning some property as you can probably rent it and seeing how you can buy Pubs and trading areas im guessing you can earn profit from that. I have to admit that side of Fable2 up to now is the most appealing to me and im sure that to achieve this would take up quite a while to do as well.

Say what theres goona be a bowerstone? This is 500 years after the orignal fable. I dont think there goona have the same towns in the last game. I like everything else but bowerstone idea.

Well got to remember places like Jerusalem still exist today and are called by the same name (thats one example of many).... why should it have changed so much to need a name change etc in 500 years?

I dont like bowerstone beacuse you cant use weapons in the city. I awlays wanted that city but i couldent have it. I hope you can use weapons in fable 2 in that city so i can buy it.

Laws change over years remember, as you said 500 years have passed and things might have changed ALOT not just the name and such

Good point i can finlly take that city. I really hope fable 2 comes out soon.

Yeah im sure there will be enough games this year to keep you occupied until then, some REALLY impressive titles out this year.
