A recent article posted on Loinhead.net on February 19th states that there is a confirmation that the release date on Fable 2 is in fact this year! Little else was said on exactly when this year, though everyone hopes in part that it’s release date is a bit delayed for quality reasons.
A few people commented on the Loinhead article saying this, as they think it’d create a better time-frame to develop the game’s features. The Loinhead article also put forth that the game will be one player, though this is likely to change, knowing how much they have changed information output from the very beginning of Fable 2 development. This being my first news entry, and I hope people take it lightly. I’m a noob to this.

But that was posted before the GDC, and odds are, as Albion Knight put it, that was just a place holder till we got something more solid.

We don't know the release date at all! So don't make an assumption that it won't come out for a year.

If Lionhead puts at least half of the promised features in the game, it'd be awesome... though I remember what Peter promised us before releasing the original Fable, and what we got :'(
I'm not by any means saying that I was disappointed, but... Well, he said once we'll be given an opportunity to fight even with a frying pan, and in the end we've got ony one frying pan, after finishing a side quest somewhere in the middle of the game :getlost:

As long as I have my new comp next feb 16th (with 2 gigs of ram, a ACI 256 MB graphics card, a custom keyboard, mouse, and case, and a 19'' wide screen moniter, with a total ram capacity of 16 GB, and 2 extra ACI slots), ill be juuuuust dandy

EDIT: This means I want my comp BEFORE it comes out.
