New game or xbox live.....

Well I got quite a issue as i can only get 3/4 (most likely 3) games till the end of the year (cause I dont buy games during spring and summer).

Well the games I am certainly getting are: Fable 2
StarWars: The Force Unleashed


But now here is the issue I can only get 1/2 more games (most likely 1) and the games I really am looking forrward to are: Fallout 3
Prince of Perisa

but If I get one of the last two games mention I wont be able to get a wirless router for my 360, so what would you guys do if you were in my situation?

I got about 4 months of free xbox live from my games and the free 1 month you get with the 360.

umm Left 4 Dead looks really fun, theres also Mirror's edge, dragon age: origins, endwar, gears 2, Resident evil 5, guitar hero 4 and rock band 2, Far cry 2, bayonetta, dead space, halo wars, and call of duty: world at war...

Go with LIVE, much better, you can go to a friends house for other games(that aren't Fable 2:shifty I think you'll be satisfied with fable 2 and TFU for awhile...

go for the game. itll be more interesting, and you can just wait a little longer for a router(thats what im doing) its best to build up your library first so you have a bigger variety of games to play online when you get it.

No they arnt but I generally look for single player first then multiplayer even on my computer. But i want online for Fable 2 and a few other game that I plan to get in about January/March.

Still thinking about what option to take as I dont have that many online game but I really want to play Fable2 online.

Go for the 2-3 games option. Not LIVE. You always want more games.

I would say LIVE though if you had more Multiplayer games. (such as Call of Duty 4, halo 3, bad company. Etc.)

Definitely get the router. IMO, Xbox is nowhere as enjoyable without LIVE.

go for xbox live. its better than sex! well, mabey not that great, but its definetly worth it. and it can breath new life into games you already have. also, if you dont already, i would sudjest getting a part time job, then you can buy all the games you want! thats assuming your a minor still in school. if your not, no offence intended.

Id get live if you've already got some games that use it (and by use it I mean use it like Halo 3 style).

What I'm going to do is wait to get Fable 2 and then get a one year live thing :w00t:

Live is a great service and really handy to have for all the updates and downloadable content for games. However it all depends on how much you will use it, as out of the games you want that you listed only Fable 2 has an online mode.

yeh I suspose I'll get a part time job and save some of my dinner money and get 3 games and a router. I most likely not buy Prince of persia and buy Gears of War instead so I have a decent online game.

Thanks everyone for your help, well I have made up my mind and I really dont see a need for this thread to stay open anymore unless anyone else needs help selecting games or simular issues.

Actually, I agree with everyone else. Xbox Live has so much to offer. It'll open up a whole new world, and down loadable content.

I don`t own a 360, but I think I would get live.
Still, Man has a point, you could get fun games and play them and then buy Live so you`ll have more games to choose from later. Unless you get tired of them and don`t want to play them anyway.

Dude, just get fable 2 and The force unleashed, no other game is going to be as amazing as either of those.
Well, gears 2 but...

Just get the first two and get your router.
Then all will be good, trust me
