Re: New Harry Potter trailer.

I think that book 6 was the best in the series. The movies leave a lot out but still give you that over all feel of the book so I like them.

Re: New Harry Potter trailer.

I'm just wondering who will play the parts of the characters "20 years later" (or so), any thoughts or knowledge to elaborate on that?

And yes I'm quite excited for this movie, they always seem to come out in november, for my b-day :P

When I saw the first movie, I was really disappointed, it left out so much that I knew, because I had read the book recently. But now, it`s been a long time since I read the last Potter book and the movies seem quite nice. So, I agree, they are rather enjoyable.

The funny part is, the first movie was closest to the book then the others. =/

I guess I`ll have to blame that little nap I took during the movie.
Seriously, I don`t know then, I guess I was thinking too much about what`s going to happen and didn`t focus on the film.
Still like Order of The Phoenix best.

Order of the Phoenix, was my favorite, along with the very first one.:) The next one looks like, it's going to be intense.

Re: New Harry Potter trailer.

My favorite part was the battle where aurors looked like white smoke or mist, would like to have be able to do that.
Deatheaters were gray and that wasn`t so cool, if only they had been black...

My favorite is the ghost student, that was in the bathroom. She was so cute, trying to scar the others.:P Can't remember her name. She was in a couple.

Yes, I agree. I found it interesting how she died tho.

Re: New Harry Potter trailer.

Yeah, the whole Moaning Myrtle part was quite interesting in the book, heck, the whole book was interesting.

I agree. I'm interested in what other books she will wright. I'm was told she is making a sequel to Harry Potter... which I don't know how. I hope she doesn't because she will ruin it. I hope she isn't the type of writer to keep making books just to milk the name.

I agree with you, no Potter books.
I wouldn`t mind books in the same universe though, there "might" have been other interesting things happening in the world before Voldemort.
And not only England has wizards...
She has possibilities.

Yeah, like a "pre-Harry Potter book" centuries before the events in 1-7. I can see it. Although she did such a great job inventing this alternate world that I'm curious as to what other types of worlds she could create.

Re: New Harry Potter trailer.

Yeah, if she jumped to a whole new level... who knows what might come out.
But other writers have said that Rowling isn`t very original, that most of her ideas are borrowed in one way or another. And I have to agree to some point as I read a book from where she supposedly took the concept of rivalry between Malfoy and Potter.

Yeahs she took a lot of things from other books here and there, but now a days thats normal. Despite the fact that she borrowed a few things she still managed to make 7 books out of it. Not only that but she made it fun for all ages. I was walking on a beach in Destin Florida one day on vacation and I seen a kid reading Harry Potter, then farther down I seen an older lady reading it (about in her 70's) and another (roughly 30's) reading the book. This was back when only the first maybe the second book was out.
