New to TLC...

New to TLC...

Like my title says i am new to TLC cause i just started playing today...now then I really jsut want to know WHAT books are for the GOOD wizard hat because i just started playing a around noon and i was fixing up the getting rid of face scars...and old /"bumps" that affect your char...i hope i did well for my first Fable modding since i retired from OBLIVION mods...anyways I have around ALL of the books from the guild but i can't choose what books to give the teacher and i REALLY want to get the GOOD hat. I searched but i couldnt find one that says the books...and also since i can't choose what to give him what is a good way to make sure i get the good hat [from quest!] if i can't do anything i would like the modding way...like i said new to TLC since today and i searched...

Just talk to the teacher, he will select the books he wants. He selects good books first. so the ones from the Guild Library are what you need to get the Bright Wizard Hat. It takes 9 books for him to give you the hat and I think 26 for the key. Even if you have some bad books in your Logbook the teacher will take good ones first.

EDIT: I put orig script.bin in and checked, it is 25 books for the key.

Again...Thank you...sweet cause even though i doubt i will use the hat i still want a good one.
Got the GOOD hat...thanks for the help...plus I learned a thing or two about useful information for later on in the game...who would have thought...

I get the good one and the neutral one every profile I play. I never wear them though. They make the hero look goofy.

Neutral? let me guess some sort of mod? and yea never going to wear it for more than the first 5 min of getting it.

The Neutal Wizard hat has been in the game from the beginning, it was just never made available. You can spawn it in a chest or bookcase though. As you do more modding and look at scripts and tng files you will see alot of stuff was put in during the making of the game, but never used in-game. The beggar you meet when you first leave the Guild is listed in 4 or 5 tng files, just not activated so you can interact with or see him. There is alot of stuff like that.
