Hmm... she's getting up there. Yep, try the "No eating and drinking after 9pm" thing. I don't think it's life threatening, though. I ain't a vet, so go see a professional at your earliest convenience!
It's really sad seeing your dog get old. I had a dog (she was a year older than me), and once she started to go out the window, it was really bad. She went deaf and got cancer, but she could still walk around and stuff. Then she started losing control of her bowels and lost her ability to move. She had to get put down when she was fourteen. I'm tearing up just thinking about it
But yeah, you're not in for a pleasent experience.
If you are really worried I am sure that unless you live in the middle of nowhere there is a 24 hour emergency vet able to see your dog. Usually if your vet is closed their answering machine will have the emergency number listed.
thanks for the advice, I am not to worried, she seems to have fallen asleep and hasnt had to go (she isnt dead she is still breathing) but still that was alot of peeing, yes she is nine so she is old 2 things worry me: she will die when I am still in the house, if so thats sad and I would cry and be deprressed, or I will be moved out then I will still cry and be deppressed but then I will feel bad because I wasnt with her when she died
Yeah I feel you. I lost both my childhood dogs when I was still at home. Neither way is easy but being there I think is best, some closure and saying goodbye.
But we don't need to worry about it because your dog is going to live many more years! Heck it's not uncommon for dogs to reach the high teens!
I was really young, and my dog died, but I was too young to know that it was all that bad. Only time I have seen my dad cry. That dog was his best friend.
