NXE: Premium Themes Showcase.

With the new NXE interface upgrade, Themes can now be taken even further than just simple background images. 3D background objects representing locations or other familiar objects from the game can be found in the backdrop of the screen (mainly behind the avatars of your friends). The entire screen will take a complete change to fully reflect the represented game (menu cards will remain the same).

The dashboard lacks a preview function for the Themes, so feel free to check here before you decide to make a purchase.

Anyway: Maybe I'm imagining things, but did I hear about achievements possibly unlocking clothing/items for our Avatars? That'd be pretty sweet...

No, purchased themes are accessible to all existing accounts, no matter which account and region it was downloaded from. This also applies to Japanese exclusive DLC for various games.

Note: Most people have reported that you may need Japanese MS Points in order to get certain JP products on XBL..

I have a Hong Kong account, so I can't see some of the JP exclusive DLC. But others I can see just fine.

Thank you very much. Say, would MS point cards bought here in Europe work to redeem MS points to use on the Japanese marketplace?

Banjo-Kazooie: N&B Oneie (Premium)

This theme takes advantage of the new dashboard and creates a full 3D world in the background, the background will change depending on your location in the dashboard.

I really like the Aqua Teen Hunger Force theme. Looks like I need to pick up one of those Microsoft 1000 Points card. ^_^
