oblivion + fable 2

has anyone else played oblivion?
i think the coolest game would be a combination of oblivion and fable
well...mabe just parts of oblivion thrown into fable for flavor...
anyways

i like both but i think seperate is better

Strory in oblivion was CRAP! But the Gameplay was all good.. They should make a new Oblivion!

I didn't think the story was terrible. Perhaps it's because I spent a lot of time on the side quest stories as well and I feel that some of those were very cool. Dark Brotherhood anyone?

yeah i thnk tho they r both rpg's they are both too different to be combined

I may have played the odd game of Oblivion from time to time...:P

Dark Brotherhood FTW and the two games are too different, in my eyes, to be comparable, let alone combined. Bethesda do things Betheda's way and Lionhead do it theirs - I don't believe for one moment they are trying to best each other. I think what makes each game individually special would be lost in a mixed game.

I tried to, but I just couldn't get into it.

Well said as always Angel. Nonetheless, they are two very impressive games, but having the best of both worlds in this case might give you the least from one world... or something like that. Hey, I'm no philosopher! :P

You mean a new Elder Scrolls? Oblivion isn't the series name, it's just the name for that perticular game. The game prior to it was called Elder Scrolls: Morrowind.

oblivion was decent. i wouldnt want it to be combined with fable. now fallout 3, that game is gonna be incredible

ummm..i think fallout 3 actually uses an upgraded oblivion engine...

The only thing from Oblivion I would like to see in Fable would be the Character Creation part of it all. I liked that, apart from you couldn't really make them all that pretty (if you were a woman) unless you spent hours, upon hours on the whole customization, and if you clicked one button, it would be turned into something different; which I got flustered at many-a-time.
Plus, that sort of Character Creation needs more indepth customization, I think; or is that just me.

All the same, Oblivion was fun. The only acheivments I didn't get were those stupid warrior's guild, or whatever it was.

I've heard lots of people go on about Fallout 3, including some of my friends at College, what is it? O_o;

But there's so many games I have to get this month I think I'm going to be pretty broke xD

One of my most anticipated games of the year, but yeah there are loads of great games out soon too. Going to be an expensive few months but great for gamers.

Comparing Oblivion and Fable isn't very practical; both games are similar in a few ways but very different in all others.

The only similarities between the two games (Original Fable and Oblivion) is the open game play. You can pretty much do whatever you want in both games. I think Oblivion offered more but Fable was less of going into caves and just killing a bunch of people over and over. I got all the achievements for Oblivion/Shivering Isles/Knights of the Nine except for half of the thieves guild. Oblivion was way more serious of a game, fable has it's lighter side which is good. If I had to pick which one between the two I like better, I don't think I could.

And all this talk about Fallout 3. Am I the only one that doesn't think it looks that great? The graphics look AMAZING but I'm very skeptical about the game.

I don't think anyone was actually comparing both games, just stating what made them good and what elements Fable could use, or at least I was.
BleedingBlue04; I agree, I loved Fable for it's lightsided humour, Oblivion was very serious, and also repetative with the Planes of Oblivion, was I the only person to get annoyed at this?

Boy, I get annoyed at a lot of things, don't I...
