Odd-Job's
Hey.
I was sitting on my bed playing Fable: TLC when i saw the people taking crates to different stores in Oakvale, when a thought came to me. What if in Fable 2 you had the option to do a few odd jobs for the villagers to earn that extra bit of cash you need?
Heres a few ideas:
-Crate Delivery-
You have to take the crates to the marked places, within the time given. A higher physique level would make it easier to handle some of the bigger crates and eventually let you run with them. The bigger the crate, the more money you get.
-Barman-
You go around the Tavern collecting peoples empties and take them to the bartender to let him fill them up again. Once they are full you must take them back to the marker person. You have a certain amout of time to do it in but the more you refill, the more money you earn.
-Guard Duty-
There are numerous crimes happening all over the cities. You choose a town (preferably the one you are in) and become a guard for a chosen ammout of time. Such crimes to stop could be: Stealing, Sexual Harassment, Assult and Armed Robbery (due to guns being in the game). You must have the 'Guard Uniform' to be able to do this and it pays well.
-Escort-
Mostly like the 'Trader Escort' quest in Fable. You have to take the traders to where they want to go. The less health they lose, the more they pay you and your 'Good Deeds' get told to everyone around.
-Bandit Attack-
Constant bandit attacks could be carried out on small towns or farms (Eg: 'Protect Orchard Farm' quest in Fable) You can choose which side you want to help. You are rewarded with some money and some good/evil points.
-Errands-
Talk to some local villagers and I'm sure they may have somehting to give back to someone else or some money to pay back for rent. You, as a hero, could assist these needy villagers and either do as they ask, or take what they give you. If you gave the item/money they wanted you to deliver to the right person you will get good points and maybe a gift. Take the item/money for yourself and you will not only get evil points, but word will spread that you are a lier and soon, if done frequently enough, no-body will trust you with any of thier errands.
I just came up with these today while i was bored at school. Tell me what you think.
