Oh Shiz!

Re: Oh Shiz!

^Yeah, BUT ITS FOX! THEY CANT LIE! It will, but why would someone engineer a virus so powerful its penetrating several sountries defense programs, just to send an april fools message?

Re: Oh Shiz!

It is a prank. It hasn't been in any other world news, and if you believe it then perhaps you are the type of person to click a download and have your computer crash.

Re: Oh Shiz!

Just a little something that someone with half a brain could work out:

  • Apparently this virus has spread throughout the world and has infected countries' military and defence systems, etc. It then goes on to say that "downloading and installing Microsoft's latest software updates should protect you." Yeah.. because updates > military defence.
  • Is it not just by coincidence that this is happening on April 1st a.k.a April fools day?
  • If this was real, it would be on world news, and it would've been on world news weeks, even months ago.
There you go ;)

Re: Oh Shiz!

i hope they don't install the avg360 virus darn i hate it. it says your computer has like 72 viruses and they block internet saying they are protecting you and its itself thats the virus that forces you to buy the anti-virus software at like 100$ otherwise it won't stop luckily i got out of it.

Re: Oh Shiz!

^I have had a few of those stupid ones, where its like "You have 8 viruses, curing now!" kinda crap, and in fact its downloading a virus and it wont let you exit the page so you have to jump off the net and do a virus scan... I hate those, I know they are fake because Norton360 has a color and style scheme for EVERYTHING it does, if it doesnt have a yellow outline with a grey background and blue buttons then I dfont trust it. XD

Re: Oh Shiz!

It was mentioned on the radio earlier but reports of it being bad or anything to worry about have been played down. Could still be a hoax as no-one has reported any issues with it yet.

Re: Oh Shiz!

XD lets hope, isnt terrorism fun kids? I miss the good'ol days when a bad guy threw a couple pipe bombs in a crowded bank and ran away? Those were the days without suspense and fear, just sadness at the idiocity of humanity :(

Re: Oh Shiz!

Oh yeah another thing, if no one knows who made the virus, how do they know that it is going to be activated today? If they got a "message" or something, it would be traced, etc. It's impossible. I made a list of reasons it is a hoax page 1 so have a look if you're scared or something.

Re: Oh Shiz!

^Library PCs? I use them all the time for crap (Not illegal crap) if he works there then he knows the password, or maybe that library pc doesnt have as strict restrictions, he can send a message from that PC and they would only be able to trace it to the library.

Re: Oh Shiz!

If it is infecting military, then the library would be forced to give up the names of people who booked computers and they would be investigated. No one gets away with military hacking, it's just impossible these days.
