ok where do u get those f***ing Top Hats?!?!?!?!

all i want is one of those top hats u see middle class men wearin! but i vcant find 1 anyhere! help me plz!

U can get them.
Get the "Rescuing Charlie" quest from some ol´lady in the gypsy camp.
When ur in the tomb with him, kill him or let him be killed, he´ll drop his hat, equip it and his granny (old lady) will think ur charlie, so u´ll get to keep the hat. I made the mistake not to wear his hat, so i had to make a new char to get it:/ So remember to wear it before u exit the tomb!

Also, the quest isnt available until later in the game, dunno exactly how long into it tho, but after
the spire.

wow i was literally just gunna post about were the top hats are, well i actually like he idea of only one in the game kinda like a legendary hat sort of.

And who the hell would think of killing a quest character anyways and then wear his hat...
It´s really complex, but i think it works. As i said i got the hat from him, just didnt wear it:s

it becomes available after you return from your first trip to either the spire or bloodstone. most likely the former. i was wearing an all black highwayman coat when i got charlies hat, and it kinda looks like a goth willy wonka. you don't necessarily have to kill charlie, it's just that there are so many god damn hollow men in the hero's tomb, it's almost impossible for him not to die. for some reason, i was equipt with charlies has almost immediately after he died

Strange, but the hollow men were like 1 hitters with my master mace:p I´m too good to let him die by newbish hollow men. If u want something done, do it yourself:p

im not sure which one it is because im to lazy but in the brightwood demon door you get 3 articles of clothing including a farmers hat might look like a top hat someone check for me lol ;]

i think its the merchant cap, something that looks abit like Barnum´s hat.

Be sure to kill Charlie. I let him live and I wound up not getting the hat on my good character.
