Has anyone ever tried completing every bost in every quest to see if this unlocks something new like the sword?

The sword would be in the mesh list/objects list of the game files. Which I have been through extensively. THERE IS NO SINGING SWORD. ^_^

The lute does exist but only through modding.
and it doesn't have a damage. It doesn't do anything.

There's a neat little legend that revolved around the (non-existent) Singing Sword, legend stated that the sword was in fact a bard who sang so bad that it would kill you upon the sound. What was his name again?

The Singing Sword - One of Albion’s oldest fables is the tale of a sword whose enormous powers were matched only by the perfect pitch voice with which it would sing battle songs. But in some versions of the myth, it was its dreadful lack of tune that would defeat whole armies. This has led some scholars to believe that the tale has its root in Temmins, the worst bard ever to exist. He who once killed an old Hero by regaling him with a monstrously bad melody. Unfortunately, it is only a fable and such a sword has never existed.

sorry for takin so long seph are u sure cause i know ppl who said they did find something of the name "LUTE" by modding and boasting for wasp queen and after he beat job he got it "but thats what i heard"

Yes I'm sure, I'm always sure. The Lute is a little guitar type instrument and doesn't do any damage and looks nothing like a sword.

What did the developers put into it as a secert for us to find?

Most likely those gravestones of the developers/other guys, including Peter himself. Wasn't there a Jack Sparrow one too?
