Lore wise the hero of bowerstone exists weather you have played fable 2 or not. If you haven't, and thats the point of view i was taking, is that you are playing as the hero of bowerstone's child, someone who hasn't played fable 2 wouldn't make the connection that "they are my children from Fable 2" because they never played the game.

I know that I in fact did play the hero of Bowerstone, You don't have to "Dumb it down" I'm not an idiot.

Most people however have played the game so i guess thats why everyone got confused.
