paint.net help

i recently instaled paint.net to join in on the sig battles and i heard it was the for the price, the thing is tho i have no clue how to use it whatso ever. any help or techniques you use on paint.net you use would be really appriciated. +rep for whoever gives me the most help

(btw sorry about he spelling mistakes if there is any, i havent slept for 28 hours)

Well start by just playing around also try and search for some duotone light plugins ( google ) its a good programe the best way to get good is to get a stock picture and experiment use layers and smudging to your effectivness.

I recommend Photoshop but that's pure my opinion.. Most tutorials on the internet are specifically created for PS.. I use CS2 a pretty old one but works perfect.

I'm pretty sure the only reason that he's using Paint.net is because he can't afford Photoshop, or he doesn't want to pirate it.

yeah you're right. as much as i enjoy making sigs, i don't want to pay for it
