It was fixed.
It did hurt the feeling that LH creates with collectables. Having it unfixed was like, say having the Silver Keys tradeable.

This reminds me of something I was thinking of. If a friend had all the keys, could they join your game and open the chests for you?

from what I've heard yes, but I haven't tested it

No, when you try to open such a chest, it'll show the quantity they have, not yours.
