Sort of irrelevant to the conversation but the guy at Hobbe cave may not actually die... If you wait until he falls over and then hit him- say with shock or something, he will yell at you for it. Presumably he just gives up living and lies down next to his son to die but.. dead people don't typically yell at you for hitting them last time I checked.
