Honestly a gnome would be quite annoying to have as a pet, even a tame one. Their specialty is to pester everything in sight, best not to bother them. Sure a dragon would be nice, easy transportation but, then you give up traveling across Albion on foot and viewing every little aspect and detail of the world.:lol:

a question has been asked about online play but he couldnt answer that meaning there could be online play and most other games are online for 360

Now that most other games are online , doesn't necessarily mean boom there is online play, but look at

this from Wikipedia

Multiplayer for Fable 2 has been confirmed at the 2007 E3 event and on the official website. Peter announced that this will be a risky procedure and players will either love it or hate it. Multiplayer in Fable 2 is played through Xbox Live or system link. It allows a host to invite up to 3 other Fable 2 players into their Albion to train, finish quests and so forth. Although the game is still in development, Peter explains that the Lionhead team are trying to make a feature which allows the invites to interact with the game's NPCs. As well as this it has been said that there will also be multiplayer quest which will be harder than the single player quest, duels between 2 or more players and a clan feature. Although the multiplayer for Fable 2 has been confirmed, the multiplayer features are still in progress and are not the final result of anything. The public are due to find out more at the E3 conference in May 2008.

Now problem is any bafoon can write on Wikipedia, and I'm to lazy to look farther on the net. I think we must wait till next weeks GDC 2008

I agree ;)

a dragon being a pet in fable 2 I doubt it, because if you leave your dog outside a pub, it will claw at the door and someone will open it and let it in. I can't see that a dragon will claw a pub, but rather destroy it, and I know that in Albion there is a strict no dragon in pubs policy:)

maybe like as a reward for a quest you are rewarded with a dragon egg which hatches a small dragon.
on that note here is a list of pets i think we should get in place of a dog:

hey because the dog can morph the dog could morph into somthing new eg dragon, gryphon, undead monkey and a parrot
