fable has no official story timeline, there are no trade mark timelines, and the game is not meant to be realistic.. so the game could zig-zag, spiral, and do anything but go straight...
ever notice how none of the zelda games never have more than 2 games strung together in sequence?

I agree completely PM did not say each game would be spread apart an even 500 years. Also I don't think you can assume that the world of Albion will keep developing the same way. After all its been destroyed and rebuilt from the ground up how many times so far? In another 500 years albion could be destroyed and it could be totally different even less progressed. Not to mention that the next game could be a prequel, 500 year spread or not.

Not that there is any real proof that there will be a total of 5 games. PM has been known to spin wishful thinking as fact. He also mentioned he wants to make new sports and racing games, so I wouldn't get my hopes set on a string of Fable games quite yet.
