Not related to the game so I've put it here. How do you know if the Pokemon trading cards you have are worth keeping or not? Or should they all be killed with fire (which is my personal opinion)?

Also, English or Japanese versions - worth the same or not?
 
No, but I do still have quite a few of Yu-Gi-Oh cards from back in the day. 8D

Also, trading cards can be extremely rare as the years go on.

English and Japanese cards vary in price depending on the buyer. Japanese cards tend to be worth a bit more because they're the 'originals' but again it's a case by case basis.

Steve has a whole folder of the stuff and some of them are Japanese cards (so I have no idea what they are supposed to say) and loads of English ones...it's not an old collection, only dates back about 10 years or so. I was just curious about them I suppose - wondering whether it's worth binning most of them to make space or not?

Oh no, don't Bin them. In trading card years ten years can be worth quite a bit of money if it's the right card. You guys should look up TCG experts and see if you can get them priced. Yes, they exist.
 
Hey Tyloric, on that website you posted, do you know which section has the prices for those three star shining cards? I couldn't find them, and I have a Shining Celebi I want to check the price on.
 
dont trash them angel... it wasn't too long ago that L0ki learned he owned a card worth over $1,000.

my dad trashed his original print Superman #1 comic and look where it got him?
according to this it's worth more than some houses in near-perfect condition.
