Call of Duty 4:

Just thought it was pretty interesting. I have one more of one of the real life carnival rides that you can see too in Call of Duty 4 but it's lost somewhere in the rubble of my photobucket.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. was entirely made after real world too, so that's nothing new.
Nevertheless, it's nice. I love the abandoned urban area where nature is taking over.

I think call of duty 4 has alot more real places, atleast i seen alot of pictures.

That's really cool. Infinity Ward did a really good job on creating an accurate depiction of that particular area of Pripyat . I don't actually recall that part...is it from the sniping mission? It's been ages since I played the campaign.

Yeh cod 4's Map bloc is based of a place called Chernobyl were a factory exploded i think and destoryed the place here are some of the pics of the area.

It was a factory leek of radiation which killed off many inhabitants and then everybody else left, so the place became a ghosttown.


And yes Steve you're correct, this takes place during the sniper mission All Ghillied Up

I knew the map was based on Chernobyl after the Chernobyl Disaster but I didn't realise how precise it was.
