Problem?

right you guys always give good advice :D my old freind was being a dick to me and we got into an argument and i said id kick the **** outta him, then i get messages from about 10 people i dont know saying i lay a finger on him ill get battered o.o now i have waaaya more then ten people behind me, but should i really fight him, (and to clarify he said some bad **** about me :() he even started a rumour i like hentai :O which is so not TRUE! *Anymore*

No, you shouldn't fight him. You may also wish to grow up a little.

Fighting people is only necessary if you, or someone you know, is in eminent danger. You will gain nothing from this, you will most likely look stupid. The "fight" will be several minutes of you two calling each other names, then shoving each other, and eventually one of you will bitch out and walk away.... everyone will forget about it in a week.

So yeah, be the bigger man, but if worse comes to worst kick his ass and fight dirty.

Just let it blow over, and tell your friend to stop being such a ***** over a simple arguement. Tell him to grow some balls. And if worst comes to worst, let him throw the first punch, then you were simply defending yourself. Remember, go for a headlock. If you position the throat in the elbow joint, and tighten, you have a greater chance of knocking him out. No bruises, just simple incapacitation.

Or do the right thing and just avoid it.

^ yeah i think ill just go with that, i mean i used to have a huge anger management problem and i don't wanna ruin all the work i did.

Good. Now if you absolutely have to fight, eg. surrounded, can't outrun, etc... Then resort to something quick and that doesn't involve long beat downs. So a headlock is your best bet. But all in all, just try to avoid it.
