Project Fable

Hey I just made a new fansite for Fable. The URL is http://www.project-fable.net/

I am still in the process of coding the content and uploading images to the gallery, since I just opened the site the other day.

Re: Project Fable

No offence mate but that's a little rip-off right there ;)

Re: Project Fable

It's kinda hard to think of a name. But I like the layout and everything, +rep, it's looking good!

Re: Project Fable

Good luck with your website. ^_^

Re: Project Fable

thanks for the replies. As for the name Project Fable it was hard to call it something like Fable Anthology or Fable Universe cuz that would sound to general (since fable means story, go to wikipedia) and since fable was codenamed "Project Ego" I though if I included "Project" into the name people would actually have a clue on what game the site is covering. I am not trying to rip anyone's site, sorry if i gave that immpression.

Here is a site I made long ago when Fable was about to be released. Its crappy I know :( (I think the geocities server is down so the site might not load but the URL is correct and it works I just tried a few hours ago)

http://www.geocities.com/fableuniverse/

I just changed the forums software. Take a look!

Nice choice! I've been meaning to give phpBB3 a try for a while now. Were you using BBPress before? Also, dunno if you're interested, another piece of forum software worth considering would be Simple Machines Forum (SMF). I find it to be a great alternative to vBulletin and, with a little tweaking, can even look and operate like vBulletin. I've currently got it powering the GoW Forum and Halo Forum and I really like it so far - even more so than vBulletin! It's also very light on server load, which is a big plus for me.

It's also a heck of a lot easier to tweak the templates, and search engine optimize than vBulletin, too, in my opinion. Dunno, perhaps SMF is something you might to try. Maybe you'll like it! ;)

Again: Best of luck with Project Fable! I really like the skinning job you've done - I love the minimalist look!

Re: Project Fable

thanks again! The skins your using for your SMF forums do look a lot like vBulletin. I was using bbpress before (it was lacking on a lot of features >_<)
