Read in some interview that the jurnalist suggested brown teeth, and PM went berserk (giving the amount of !!!!!! signs used) and said sumthing like "yes! black teeth! so everytime you smile people will reach to it, you will have ugly teeth, but you will be wealthy"
would be an awesome thing to do to cheaters, but the game had already gone gold at that time, so idk what will come of it..

i will complain if that happens, I payed £10 for the pub games and if i recieve something that will spoil the game for me just because i made a mistake (yes i bet about medium and i hit the joystick by mistake which enabled the glitch) will really upset me. The cheat is very easy to do by mistake so i dout they will punish you for it.

Hmm... maybe they can look at your total bet-win saldo?
and if you bet 150 and got 3000 back, and you did that more than, say, 10 times - you egt marked?

yea it says merge with hero in one of the options so you do have to merge so if u dont want to see the results of cheating just dont merge

I dont think it was done intentionally.. if so,, than pretty much everyone who played the pub games will have to face some type of cheater shenanigens. BUUTTT this is why I have more than one account. Ill have my account with millions in gold, and then my other account where i will start from scratch. problem solved! Cant wait to see what happenes!

Peter Molyneux never officially said that the glitch was intentional, a reporter (with a history of misinformation, at that) claimed he did. It could very well be that she made a mistake, again, and misinterpreted the long-running rumor. She could have even made it up. I watched an interview yesterday where PM stated that he never rated the game a 9/10 to anyone, which was stated in one of the recent articles, so I'm sure some journalists end up twisting the truth in their articles. PM also never said that cheaters were getting black teeth. During another interview, when the topic of consequences came up, the interviewer had jokingly mentioned "black teeth or something" to him, to which he had basically laughed over.
Could this glitch be intentional, possibly. But, to be honest, people (especially the journalists) are over analyzing things and blowing them way out of proportion right now. So far the only thing we've officially heard from Lionhead was that they were aware of the glitch and that a patch is being released. Until they say otherwise, people just have to keep in mind that this is all still speculation.

and if you really are worried about this affecting your char then just cheat on a char and make a test char and just see if anything happens... and if so then just dont merge with you main pub char but if your cheating in the pub games to get that much money hey youve already messed with the game

Hilary is a guy actually and as far as his history of missinformation goes this would be the first time I've seen it if it turns out to be untrue. Seems like there's misinformation about his history of misinformation :lol:

eep........ are we really gonna be punished for cheating????? i only did it to get out of debt!!! and iv stoped now! can someone please un-confuse me.
if this is true then im gonna delete all my pub game characters and start over without cheating, like i always should have done. :angel:

I wouldn't have either, except for the LiveWire Demo where he played the game with Peter Molyneux.
I expect that this will turn out to be simmilar to the 9/10 thing when Peter said he got about 90% of what he wanted to have in the game people assumed he meant that it was only a 9 out of 10 in it's quality.

well, so i dont ruin the game for myself (the real punishment for cheating in my opinion) i have deleted all my pub game characters and am starting off new, but only to play the tornaments and earn the items. any small amount of gold i win will also be kept, but i will not start the game off in debt. but a few hundred extra gold wouldnt hurt though.
