yes, you need xbox live to get the pub games. you dont need to pre order the LE to get them though. some stores are just offering a free code to enter on xbox live to get the games for free if you pre order either version of fable 2. however, the pub games will also be a part of the game when it is released. not sure if they will function the same way, or if you will just be able to play them in pubs. i hope they make it so the folks without live can still get the items and stuff from them.

The bastards! They did this while I was on vacation! Now I have to get my butt to EB or Gamestop to order it, and the Pub Games. Should prolly get my Live Account while I'm at it.

Well, after I go by work and get my paycheck, since I have no money on me right now.

Nothing ever happens the way I expect it to.

I was playing my games today that I downloaded with the code from Gamestop and realized it said TRAIL VERSION!? Did everyone only get the trial version from the free code, or did I get jew'd?

I can't go past the "FREE" tourney's or do alot of other stuff. I can't even switch characters because it said "not availible in trial version".*

I typed in the subscription code correctly and it said I with the code I was qualified to download Fable II Pub Games. So I have no idea what happened.

What size is the file for pub games? I ask because I just got my xbox and only have a 256mb memory card. I guess I will have to buy a hard drive for pub games but I thought I may as well check.

Im terrible at them too so dont worry, as i said in a previous post the debt collectors and bailiffs will love me.

I wasn't good at them either to start with. I suggest playing the free tournies until you figure out a good strategy. you don't lose gold and you can win some :D

If I download the trail pub games is it easy to upgrade (using a coupon)?
And will it take up extra space when I upgrade? Will my characters get carried over?
Anyone have experience with this that can help me?
