Question about Selling Achievment

Ok so on the tradeing forum a couple of people were selling achievments, can someone explain how this works. Because if the person joined your game wouldn't they get all the achievements you had, not just the one they paid for. Any explanation would be appreciated.

They earn the achievements when a player sells something and buys it back...
Sell one of their dolls and buy it back = Doll Catcher
Sell one of their skills and buy it back = Completionist
etc etc.

So basically they dont get all, they only get what the player wants them to get.
