My ipod has froze up, usually i'd hold down a couple of buttons and it will go to normal.. anyone know a way to make it start working???

I've gone to the webistes and searched it but they give you information and dont give a rats ass if it works or not.. maybe you guys will? heh..

Well if you can help I will find you in real life and give you a hug.. if.. you want one.

You need my friend Matt. He has a way with electronics. My friends Ipod didn't work for like a month and nothing he tried would work. Then Matt goes around, picks up his Ipod and makes it work fine. Funny stuff.

Wish I could help... but I've never even owned an iPod. If you brought it recently then it'll likely still be under warranty so you might perhaps be able to get a replacement model.

Which model ipod is it that you have?

Usually just hold down the play/pause button and the menu button for 10 secs to reset it.

Sorry but arnt most Ipods usually gifts you get? Cause there are sooo many better MP3/4 players in the same price bracket

iPods suck, they hold a lot of memory but they are not that great. Some even catch fire.

Do everything you can to reset it. That mean erase all of your music, but at least you could have your iPod again.

It just ran out of battery then i smacked it around a bit for making me angry then it started working..

I work on iPods at work a lot.

• The first thing I do is plug it into a wall charger. USB chargers don't always do the trick.
• The second thing is to hold down the Menu and center button for ten seconds, this is like rebooting your PC.
• The third thing to do is update both your iPod and iTunes. Note that if you have any music that is not legit it may no longer play or synch to your iPod due to enhanced DRM.
• The last thing to try is imaging your iPod using iTunes. This will wipeout everything on your iPod and start fresh.

Well, i am a sister to a kid with an account on here. my ipod did the same thing and then, it just kinda died on me. it wouldn't even hook up to the computer anymore. wouldn't do ****. anyway, the thing is, if it's still able to be sensed by the computer, then open up itunes, it will give you the option to reset yoru ipod...now this will prolly fix your ipod, it's almost 99 % sure, but here's the catch: you'll pretty much lose all info.

so if you've got i tunes then yepp; pretty much set. if not- i've got a couple other things. and if you don't have itunes..it's worth downloading to do this...i didn't have it i just steal music ;P but you can put it on your computer and then take it off later.
