Still boggles my mind how people can rate a game 10/10 then point out flaws. Shouldnt a 10/10 game be perfect in every way? If it isnt then it doesnt merit a 10/10 score... :wacko:

Well, usally I take off .5 points off each bad thing of games when rating them. I gave it a 8.0 because....

Hated the child's appearance, think he is ugly. - 0.5
Whispers voice. 0.5
Lack the ability to join Jack O Blades. - 0.5
Too easy. -0.5

There is no game create that warrants a 10/10 - unless the flaws do not bother you in any way...

exactly wat i was thinking; they cud have stated some flaws, just to show balance, but if theyre not bothered then it still merits 10/10

ye probly cud have, just 4gt the 1-5 (or maybe 1-4) cuz u dont really need it. we wouldnt be here if we didnt like it would we? =]

Even if the flaws dont bother you they are still flaws, therefore game wouldnt deserve a perfect score in my opinion as it could have been improved. :lol:

I don't see giving a game a 10/10 as saying it's perfect just top 10 percent
What's the point of having a scale from 1-10 of you can't get a 10?
I still gave it an 8

How do you not see that? On game sites 10/10 usually means perfect game.

I guess I'm thinking back to when I was getting evals back from students.
Some students would hand back their eval and felt the need to tell me that the only reason they gave me a 9/10 is because nobody is perfect. 9/10 is a B grade 90% and it would kill my average. It got worse when they switched to a nine point scale 8/9 was an 88%

I guess what I'm saying is this

• 0.0-1.0 = 1
• 1.1-2.0 = 2
• 2.1-3.0 = 3
• 3.1-4.0 = 4
• 4.1-5.0 = 5
• 5.1-6.0 = 6
• 6.1-7.0 = 7
• 7.1-8.0 = 8
• 8.1-9.0 = 9
• 9.1- 10 = 10

You don't have to think the game is perfect to give it a perfect score.

I'm probably waaaaaaaaaaay over analyzing this as usual forgive me I do get carried away :wacko::lol:

I think you are way over analyzing this. Games and..Eval's/Grades or whatever are very differen't. ..
