Metal as a genre is a mess right now. What happen to the good old days when everything was just pure unadulterated awesome metal?

That's what happens when musicians become solely driven by fame and money, rather than actually making enjoyable music with some passion.

I don't care what the genre I listen to is called; I know what I like, why I like it and it's just plain awesome. Also, I think it's good that there are so many different things going on; more choice for everybody! It would be pretty lame if all bands had to stick to the same kind of music. That's not what music is about. It's about creativity, that creativity leads to so many different songs and I love it.

But yeah, what to call it is sometimes a bit unclear, but I don't care about those sorts of discussions; I'm here for the music.
