Reasons you come back to Fable

I thought of this thread just now. It's been circling around my head for some time because I go through times where I play Fable for countless hours and then suddenly get bored and stop playing. Then one day, I decide to play and I have a blast. Maybe because I miss the very first time I played. I never saw footage, never played it, never saw friends play it, I heard friends talk about it and I saw pictures. One day, I really wanted it. After dinner one evening, on my chair was "Fable: The Lost Chapters" PC version. I installed it, and was blown away. Fable has changed my life.

So my question is: Why do you came back to Fable if you stop for a while?

It's addicting and something new could happen during gameplay. Sure after a while the same old quests get boring, but I suspose it's the action, scenery, and music, that drawls me back to the game.

when u get bored with the game change it .. cheat mod do w/e remake the game in your liking

Because it's the only RPG I have in which I like all of the following; the combat system, character advancement system, storyline, NPCs, non-rpg perk/bonus features, pretty much everything. I have other RPGs where I like one or some of those more, but Fable is the only one where I like everything. (except the length )

Hmmm why i come back to fable? well imo its the best game out there. better then world of warcraft. why? yes wow is fun and so is fable, but in fable i dont get P.Ms asking if i want to pay real cash for in game money,,. not to mention everyone on my server on WoW is like..12 years old. And fable is just so realistic to me aside from the dragons and magical beings. i love the game. ive played it for two years because its so ****in awesome =)

Erm..yeah...howd you know? :ninja: I have a 64 war, but letting my freind play my account and level him up since i dont have the time to level him up myself hehe...thanks to summer school :realmad:

I know I keep coming back to Fable cause it makes me laugh... same reason I go back to games like GTA and such...
I like the side stuff like weird dialogue and seeing men drop their things checking me out in my snazzy dress :lol:
I like getting to play a game where, though the aging leaves a lot to be desired, I got to play a character from youth through to old age... I'd never played a game before where the character ages... so sometimes I just feel like playing through this guy's life again, you know

well, then you my friend, don't know how to live... and I strongly suggest you never visit big cities... or the Fable Bordello :lol:
I don't know about you, but my hero looks damn good in my snazzy dress... though I leave the wig off, I think it makes me look a little fruity

I'd say another thing that brought me back to play Fable again was trying to play as the opposing alignment and make different choices in the hopes of my game having a different outcome... however, Peter Molyneux doesn't like those types of games, so I am often frustrated by the fact that nothing will ever change and so that is the reason I often stop playing Fable for a while...

with a population under a million, no...

and that was a joke anyway... most big cities have those sorts of things... but I don't know how it is in America... I know you have a bible belt and whatnot... so maybe you don't get to see the young gents in their snazzy dresses as often as I do... I just find it one of the funniest things in Fable is all

there is nothing creepier than a man in a dress imo guys just dont look good in dresses
