Recommended programs?

I was wondering what good programs for editing apearance and stuff like that on your computer, if you know of any post a link to them. I already have windowsblinds and objectdock, and they must be free or have a free version.

Pinnacle Studio 11, its a little costly but it is AMAZINGLY good for videos and pictures, descent for musical mixes, and pretty simple...

EDIT: But there is a new version (Studio 12) so It is probably better XD

I can only think of widgets (which are pretty useful sometimes). I use Yahoo Widgets. Free and very easy to use.

I also used this whole makeover kit thing once to make my XP look and act like Windows Vista. It was called the Vista Transformation Pack or something. Be warned though: It can be a massive bitch.

photoshop has a 30 day trial which is definately worth it.
another competitive program with photoshop that i've heard about is coral paint pro.
