Red Dragon Pistol (Reaver's pistol) is a lie!

They're not the same gunx_x take a look.
Theyr supposd to be 2 red dragon pistols. Red Dragon on the left-Lie on the right

I thought Reaver have it on his mantel? or was that a fire place any way I thought I saw it on like a trophy plaque or some thing.

the hero's weapon is called the red dragon, reavers weapon is called the dragon stomper (with 2 numbers after it)
apparently it is called the dragon stomper because it was made to be better than the red dragon.

o, well thats unfair. anyway i always heard it was "reaver's pistol" so i was always happy to use it cuz hes my hero, till i did this mission and realized they were different. dammit

Reaver had a gun called the Dragon Stomper .72 (I think) The Red Dragon belonged to another sharpshooter in Albion, supposedly the best. He challenged Reaver to a friendly duel, and Reaver replied by shooting him in the head. Reaver stole the Red Dragon from the other sharpshooter and kept it for himself as a trophy. Hope that helped.:)

There were four Dragon pistols in total were't there? Reaver's Dragon Stomper .48 and Wicker's Red Dragon were but two of 'em. They'll all have been different in their own right.

the Dragon Stomper .48. Only six of them were ever made. Damn, I can't remember the exact quote, (I tried,) but what it boils down to is: Reaver told the whole story, and he basically killed all or most of the owners of the other five. I don't think he got them all, but it could come back in Fable III as part of a quest with/against Reaver,

There should be one more dragon stomper .48. Reaver said he killed 4 of the 6 people who had one. That leaves one more for the hero. By the way, thats an iron clockwork pistol he has mounted on the wall.

I'm just gonna keep on assuming that he's refering to the Red Dragon. Aye, it may look different, but I think that's what they're getting at.

i read somewhere the red dragon would be a weapon in fable III

^No, Lucien never had a Dragonstomper pistol, he only had a regular gun.
