Red Dragon *please read befor asking for it
First of all, this may or may not contain spoilers, but if your reading this, I assume thats not a problem.
Now Im not telling you not to ask for the Red Dragon, but it is in sutch high demand that I thought I would give a few pointers for getting it yourself. Also, the Red Dragon is NOT the best gun in the game, it is however a good gun for some depending on your play style. Red Dragon is the legendary clockwork pistol, meaning its weak but very fast. I also think its the only legendary pistol, Im a little rusty on Fable II right now so I might be wrong. So if you prefer fast guns, or prefer pistols, Red Dragon is a good choice for you.
Now for tips on how to get it, trust me I used to suck at that shooting range to but using this statagy its very easy to get. Also you can use this statagy to get tons of dolls for trading to get the dollcatcher acheivment if you need it.
1. Make the deal with Barnum (the guy that took your picture at the begining of the game) BEFOR you go to the spire. This will cause the area to evolve into a prosperous town and the rules of the shooting range will change so that you are supposed to shoot the bandits, rather than the villagers. This makes the game much easyer as the bandit targets are larger, and more common in my opinion. If you dont know where Barnum is, follow the path up and behind the tavern. If you go to the tavern and look up you should be able to see him. Find him and accept his deal, this must be done befor doing the spire. It is still possible to get the Red Dragon without taking the deal, or befor going to the spire, but it will be much more difficult.
2. Use a Master Clockwork Pistol. This gun can fire 6 (I think, mabey its 5) shots and reloads very fast. Damage is not a factor for scoring points in the game so any gun will do but I personaly recamend a master clockwork pistol or the best clockwork pistol you can afford.
3. Aim only for headshots! Headshots score you 3 points rather than 1 and that adds up fast.
4. Take your time and carfully aim, you will get fewer shots off but accuracy is the important thing here.
Once again, I once really really sucked at the shooting range but I used this stratagy and now I am very good at it. Using this statagy you should have no trouble getting the Red Dragon.
Failing all this, you might be able to find someone willing to trade you one, but most people love this gun and wont part with it. If your wondering, it doesnt look all that cool (especially for sutch a cool sounding name) but it is very fast and overly loud and sounds cool. Being a clockwork its damage isnt very high, but its very fast so the damage quickly adds up. If you like to toy with your enemies by disarming them, or just want to shoot the hell out of anything in your way, or just want do run around town going BABABABABABA!!!!!!!! then Red Dragon is for you. But if you want a one shot, one kill weapon to blow off the heads of your enemies, you may want to look into something else, like a flintlock or bluderbus.
Hopefully, this guide will help clear the forums of all the Red Dragon wanted threads that are all over the place. If not, well at least I tryed.
