Yes I can see Lionhead's "repercussions" being a little more imaginative than a gold reset. Like the towns people running you out of town and you being banned from playing the pub games in Bowerstone. I would laugh so hrad.

I don't want it to spoil gameplay for anyone. Honestly that's why I'm hoping for a balanced reset to 2-5% of Pub game experience.

Hey I see what your saying. If you start the game with 500k gold then you can just go buy the best gear in town by a huge house and immediately start a family. If you do that then you just sprinted through hours of enjoyable game play. You'll miss a lot and probably end up complaining about how the game was easy and too short. This scenario could very likely play out with a lot of players if they don't reset gold.
On the other hand I do remember a certain duplicating glitch for Oblivion that allowed you to produce hundreds of items that you could sell for an immense profit. A lot of players took advantage of this Including myself and it didn't ruin the game for me. Mainly because I didn't depend on that gold for everything. I wanted to quest for my gear instead of buying it. I mean sure I had a huge manor in Skingrad filled with jewels and armor I never used but it didnt stop me from exploring dungeons for new pieces of gear. The truth is the only people the glitch will ruin the game for are those who don't want to quest and explore the game. And these aren't rpg people in the 1st place so who cares.

I doubt that Lionhead will do anything apart from Patch the Pub games which they have already done.
I mean seriously no game-developer resets a Customers game that would give the game A bad rapsheet because what if The Developer accidentally wipes out a non-cheaters save game??? they're would be a loss in profit from that gamer going round and saying not to get this game because blah blah blah.....

I Cheated, but it will be funny going from a Trampy little brat into a Millionair super awsome Mayor of Bowerstone in 5 minutes, then i could be Like, "RESPECT MY AUFORATIEEE". Although personally im considering reseting my pub games so the game isnt spoilt for me.

I think the glitch may not work anyway, i think the gold you earn dosnt count towards your pot, When i go into my games libary and scroll over the pub games it says: Prize gold:22500 when i actually have 720,000 or something. Unless the prize gold is the total amount all the items are worth?
