Flintlock, Turret, or Clockwork rifles/pistols?
Personally, I like clockworks because I like shooting loads of bullets at once, even if they're not as powerful as a single-shot weapon like flintlocks. Turret weapons also allow you to shoot loads of bullets at once, but the time you have to take to reload all that ammo makes turret weapons even worse than flintlocks.
