Right-Thumstick Function (up-down)

Okay, I know that this is going to be an odd question for someone to ask but I'm genuinly curious about what they are going to do with this one. In Fable, pushing the right-thumbstick up and down altered the distance between the camera and your character; I liked this ability since sometimes you want a good vew of your character or to feel more in the area and sometimes you want your character out of the way.

In Fable II however, they withdrew your ability to zoom the camera in and out (if we ignore the very limiting pressing-the-button function) and instead, made pushing the right-thumbstick alter the pitch (vertical tilt) of your camera with you as the centre of rotation (so that the camera would move to face you) so that you were able to view your character with anything from a top-down view to a horizontal one by pushing the right-thumbstick up and down.

Question is, which function do you think the right-thumbstick (up and down motion) should have in Fable III? Altering camera zoom or pitch (vertical tilt - high camera looking down or character-height camera looking straight on and everyting in between)? Interesting, because I found the lack of ability to control my pitch in Fable annoying and my lack of ability to effectively change the zoom in Fable II annoying too. But anyway, which should be changed with the right-thumbstick in Fable III? Or should they make it do something else?

Personally, I would prefer to be easily able to look up and down (so control my pitch) like in Fable II so that you can see as much of the world as possible and have a good camera view depending on where I am (if I'm out in the open, I want to be able to see far ahead wheras if I'm in an interior, I want to be able to see all around me). I personally don't find changing the zoom too important so long as the zoom is at a sensible amount and it changes at the appropiate times (like I'm aiming with my gun or out of or inside combat). I know that they'll be lots of opinions though but that would be my personal preference.

but let's face it, you're not going to want to look up at the sky whilst running around, and there's already a function for looking all around while standing still. Personally i wouldnt mind either method, but i put changing the camera pitch because the 'click to view hero' was good enough zoom for me.

I would more or less agree with that. I'm not one to be always changing the pitch but it's something that usually you do want to do more than zoom and two zoom levels will do. Does anyone else who hasn't voted have any opinions however?
