Well at first I was like "Wut?" then I was like "Madface" then I was like "wtfface" then I got some ice cream then I was like "thatssohomosexualitsalmostheterosexual...face" then I read tyrants post and was like "oh". Thanks for clearing that up Tyrant.

I would give you some rep but I don't know how.

You give rep by clicking the green plus sign in the bottom of someone's post.

And thanks to you and RH, glad I can help.

"Oh yes, your father did score 25 groin shots and had sex with 5 whores in Bloodstone, it was a good day for him."

Re: Road to Rule with P. Molyneux *spoilers*

YES! and he had 39 stds by the time he died also you have 23 illigetimate brothers and sisters
good find tho i like the idea mostly because i hate rushing through a game, but i guess at least you have the ability to do it even if you miss out on some things, some people just like to play the story and not explore so its for all kinds i guess

Re: Road to Rule with P. Molyneux *spoilers*

Well didn't Peter say that most people didn't even use half of the gameplay features in Fable II. So this really is making it so when you buy a new feature of the game you actually want to experiment with it and use it. I like the idea and will definitely be trying to open every chest ^_^

Re: Road to Rule with P. Molyneux *spoilers*

I hope they keep a little sidebar or something to remind us what chest colors go to what gameplay aspects, or else that may be hard to remember as there could be more than the three colors he menctioned

Re: Road to Rule with P. Molyneux *spoilers*

yes, this is great
should be a great way to moderate content

Re: Road to Rule with P. Molyneux *spoilers*

Ha! ahahahhahahaha!§!!!1!!!

What the hell, Peter?!

We can unlock the 'ability' to have children?
That is so sad!

Until we unlock that 'ability' we will all be worthless. we have to actually open a chest in order to get some - release the best from its cage, so to speak ^_^

Haha, that's too good
Guess I unlocked that ability then :P
Well I don't have kids... it got aborted, soooo
But it's all good now :)

Re: Road to Rule with P. Molyneux *spoilers*

a game that want's you to take time with it!

lovin it!

Re: Road to Rule with P. Molyneux *spoilers*

Hopefully you can unlock all chests in one go if you are persistent enough. Kind of funny that you need to open a chest to have friends (maybe); aka: *opens chest* "Ohhhh...to get friends you don't insult them...very interesting".
The only thing I didn't use in the first game was dating and that was because flexing my muscles or later in the game just standing there made people fall in love with me.

Re: Road to Rule with P. Molyneux *spoilers*

Well, i'm going damn slow in this game. Hello, annoying expresions galore. **** you PM.

Re: Road to Rule with P. Molyneux *spoilers*

i thought it said you open the chest after you have kids, not that it gives you the ability to have them that would just be dumb
gotta rewatch the vid now

Re: Road to Rule with P. Molyneux *spoilers*

i sort of like this idea, but it kinda does and doesn't have a fable feel to it. it seems quite rpg in the way you spend exp-type point towards new character features, but also seems like the opposite of how peter initially described fable 3 as being all about a fighter sim type game, and not having any unrealistic things happen.

the problem i see, is that the point when you fight logan, is dependable to how many followers you have, so everyone will be able to open the same amount of chest at the point they defeat logan, so taking your time or rushing wont have any different for the first part of the game.

secondly, fable 3 won't have a final ending will it? since you will be able to always play the game, so you can always gain followers and unlock more features. but it makes me wonder if even after playing the whole game to the point the main king storyline finishes, you still wont have all features in the game, it could be very annoying to the player, especially since peter said he wants the player to feel powerful, and blocking off features would make players feel less powerful.

I doubt i will feel awesome just because i played the game long enough to open a chest to let me hug my friend, or get married.
perhaps the fighting chests might have better impact, but the social chests seem awkward.
perhaps if they found a way to justify the social chests in a way it seems realistic to the fable 3 world. but otherwise, it is just the typical game way of covering up features with things like chests. instead of giving reasons like a combat trainer who teaches fighting techniques at the cost of something. or a friend helping the player to organize a wedding.
that would give a much bigger impact on my characters development, than opening a chest.

I'm sure yYou will be able to open every chest before the game ends - but not before you road to rule ends.
Remember that at the end of the road is the castle, once you get there you can overthrow Logan - thus completing your road to rule, but you most likely won't be able to open every chest by the time you get there.
That's only half way through the game ^_^

First of all, peter,in my opinion,is giving the power to the player by this road to rule feature. You can choose how you mature in the game world. The path is up to you.
Secondly, hopefully that when you open a chest, you will get some graphic representation other than a screen that just says "Congratulations, you just unlocked ______ feature." Like for example, when buying houses you get a permit or something at least to represent the ability.

Re: Road to Rule with P. Molyneux *spoilers*

o god its true, this is going to be such a pain in the a**, like i need to open an effin chest just to learn to hold someones hand? wtf?! now i could see some of the chests esp combat perks working for this but certain abilities being in a chest like that are just dumb and makes no sense at all. Bad PM! Bad!
although it would be pretty funny to get like a box of condoms when you unlock the ability to have sex
or a pack of diapers when you get the ability to have kids

yes, but would you feel as awesome just because you get to hug or marry someone?

and i agree with the graphic representation of it, but not the fact that there is a road full of chests you need to open.

if the graphic representations were integrated into the game through npc's, then i would love it. but opening chests with guild seals is stupid, and probably the most unrealistic thing in the fable world. as im guessing this road wont be physically in the world of albion or aurora. and it has no story explanation so far.

Re: Road to Rule with P. Molyneux *spoilers*

I think I'm going to reserve a complete opinion till I play it and try it out for myself, but as I generally rush too fast through games, I like the fact that this will force me to slow the hell down and enjoy it.
