Rose in Fable 3?

During your training as a child, before you grow up to a teenager, at least this in tlc as i did this the other day, not sure about the original

You sure? I mean, I could just be used to Fable: The Lost Chapters but I could have sworn you see him at least once right in the beginning of both versions.

I'm not sure if this is in Fable, but I'm fairly sure it is.

It's in TLC, I have both, and it's not in the Original

Oh ok, I don't have the original Fable anymore, so I wasn't sure.

so instead of making a new thread this seemed like the most appropriate place to ask this:

*spoilers*
(even though you should know these things by now)
At the end of fable 2 i chose family and got the letter from rose yadda yadda

Has it been declared official canon that it was Scythe she was referring to?
deep down inside what's left of my soul some tiny glimmer of hope told me it sounded a bit like Jack.

Yep, it's Scythe.

Scythe isn't coming back for Fable III (or so they say) and they've said Jack is dead forever.

Ah well Scythe was pretty cool too, and I knew it was too much to hope jack would come back.

You know...maybe...we'll see children of Rose in fable III if you chose Love? I mean, they can't just drop her like that, with all that, "we'll see each other again someday" ****. I refuse to lose hope we will see some glimmer of Rose in Fable III

Same, but it would be a shame to see her and not Scythe.

Their will be a fable IV. Scythe will show up again. He just can't not. He is William Black, the first Hero, the Archon they can't not show him again.

Certainly, but I wonder how they would explain his absence.

I'm sure he would have tried to stop Lucien from repeating his own mistakes.

No. Scythe is to amazing to be bothered with such things like saving the world. Thats what the new heroes are for. I remember he like left albion or something in a book, so they could just say he came back from where the hell ever. I mean. He is immortal.

Oh yeah also Scythe didn't do anything with the spire, all those decended from William Black are Archons, it was one of them that activated the spire.

My guess is that being creative individuals, the lionhead team simply does not yet feel like rehashing a character/storyline so they instead try new ideas and themes and characters. Sort of a been there, done that theme. I understand how ironic this is.

BUT ITS FABLE GOD DAMN IT.

They build up all this story line and **** for the original one and now the sequals are having less and less to do with it. **** rehashing the original was golden.

Well you can only say so much about the Hero of Oakvale and stuff now that he's dead.

Where was it said that the Hero of Oakvale is dead? The only one that has been confirmed to be dead is the Hero of Bowerstone. For all we know, our first hero could still be running around doing heroic deeds, haha.
