Salty Jack! you Fother Mucker!!!

he disappeared! i did the quest treasure island of doom, got all 10 treasures now its telling me to return to salty jack in bloodstone. as i recall he is usually inside the pub, around the pub or at the dock with the ship master.

now i return to tell him that he hasnt lost his marbles, and now it seems he has lost himself. not even me lucky golden nuggets can point the way to salty jack!

anyone else have this issue?

As I recall you meet Jack right after you get off the ship, then he'll tell you thanks and you complete the quest.
If you haven't met him there I guess it's a glitch

I guess you are, have you tried leaving the region and come back - or quitting the game?
I have no idea if it helps btw

Reverting back to a previous save point is most likely possible - of course, if it didn't autosave after your glitch occurred. If it didn't, try to go back to your last restoration point, and see if the glitch reveals itself once more. Unfortunately, if it does, I suggest you should start a new character.

Lionhead really should change the way of saving things, IMO...

I bet instead of going back to the ship, you fast traveled and screwed it up.

did you return using the ship? cuz thats what your supposed to do..... if you can revert to a past save, return on the ship. otherwise i guess you cant finish the quest. :'(

yeh get back on the ship and interact with the wheel, go to the island the do the same thing and get back to bloodstone

yea i returned by using the ship

and reloading the region, etc... tried all that, hes just gone, o well

and the breadcrumb trail is pointing where exactly while all of this is going on?

thats the thing. with no salty jack to be found, the trail is no longer there...

Oh dear, that's no good. Maybe try reloading Bloodstone and looking in the pub, he might be back in there.

That happened to me and I found him right outside the entrance to that cave he sends you too.

You get the gold you find on the island regardless of whether or not you find Salty Jack, correct? So you should be 15,000 gold richer just from finding all the treasure chests. Besides, even if you do find him, he doesn't give you anything extra. Cheap bastard...
