Saving Electricity

Just out of curiosity, who turns off there computer when there done with it? Or who turns off there monitor?


I personally just turn off my monitor...my computer hasn't been turned off in a while...(cant remember the last time I did).

I always turn mine off after im done with it, mainly as my rooms so small id never be able to sleep with the noise of the fans going on all night and also as mine has blue fans and lights all over it, it would keep me awake.

Yeah thats quite an old picture i had lying around in here, those beers are long gone now :lol:

Got to remember you might want to turn PC off more then as you will be paying the electric bill

Yeah it all mounts up, i only pay £20 a week for living here still and have no bills except my internet to worry about.

Ive been paying that for 5 years now so im used to it, plus £20 a week is nothing.

For me it is...I dont have a job yet...I applied but the damn hiring manger hasnt called yet...If he's not going to hire me, he should at least call and tell me instead of leaving me hanging damn it! Sorry...a bit off topic >_< But ya, my parents said that once im around 20- 24 years old, that If i havn't moves out, they would make me start paying...lol

I was charged from age of 16 and i wasnt working either :lol:

I hate it when people dont contact you after job interviews and just leave you hanging and it shouldnt be allowed and they should be forced to let you know either way. You should be happy they arent charging you now then if they said at about 20-24 they will .

No its just i was old enough to go and find a job so they just charged me board to give me incentive to go find a job.
