I'm with OpenWorld on the weapons being "unequippable." Hopefully that's in the next one. I say nay on the scabbards, personally, but I'm all for a weapon hanging off the hip. It'd be cool to keep my cutlass on one hip and pistol on the other.

I suppose I'm not totally alone. As mentioned before, scabbards would be impossible with the morphing weapons, and characters that do have their weapons on their belts (Reaver and Walter are the only ones I know) don't have them.

I just don't think a sword on the back looks right on uniforms like this:

Guns are still fine I guess. Where else would you keep it?

I'd like to see swords strapped to your side myself, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen. Perhaps there will be an option for different weapon displays in DLC or something, but other than that I wouldn't count on it.

For weapon sheathes, it's not something I'm particularly concerned about, I'm content with just the blade hanging on the hip. A holster for firearms would be more than welcome though, especially for pistols.
