Re: ScareCrow

Thank you, Droded.

See the thing with Droded is that he takes time to understand others, even if it is not what is normal or usual for him. He cannot compare any of his experiences to mine, like he said.

That did Help, Droded, I may do what you say, I may not take it in like you would want me to, But it just opens my mind up for different options.

Dont worry, This thread wont turn into a heated discussion again.

I heard that powerade is a good hangover cure?

Re: ScareCrow

My folks split when I was 18. My Father had also been cheating on my Mother, from what i know, it was several women over the entire period of their marriage. My dad was such a coward, that instead of acting like a man and owning up to it, he turned everything around onto my mother to make it like it was her fault, then eventually took off without as much as goodbye. He then left the woman he was staying with 3 months later in much the same fashion.
That wasn't the first time, or the last that he would do this. He's already taken off twice when I was still a baby. He's now remarried and I have a little Step-brother too. Guess what? He pulled the same crap on them too. I threatened him, I would never speak to him again if he abandoned his lovely new family and didn't return home to sort out their issues. Sure enough he went back home, but things don't seem to have improved.
On Tuesday afternoon, I recieved a text from my Step-mother telling me that my father had had a minor stroke an was in the local hospital. My brother(full blood) and I went in to see him, and despite his fragile state, he still managed to whinge and complain about my step-mom, like everything was his fault.
The point I'm trying to make i guess is, even though my father is a complete douche for all that he has done, he is still my dad, and always will be. I'm still angry at him, but I can't hate him. I hope in time he changes his ways before he destroys everything that he has left and burns all his bridges, or he will die a very lonley and helpless man.
This may not necessarily help you Scarecrow, but just understand, you ain't alone in this, and despite your broken family, you have to make the most of what's left of it.
